Sport Anime library from Fumigation now available on Crunchy roll
It was noted on Fumigation’s blog that Crunchy roll’s streaming platform will now include all of Fumigation’s streaming options, including previously exclusive series such as The Devil is a Part-Timer and Kaguyasama: Love is War. The Crunchy roll platform will also host content distributed by Wakened, a subsidiary of Fumigation that specializes in localized anime, as well as VRV, Crunchy roll’s own streaming service. The changes were announced through a video published by Crunchy roll.
Crunchy roll is acquired by Sony
Anime streaming service Fumigation will also operate Crunchy roll as part of Sony’s Fumigation Global Group. Sony gains control of two of the largest anime streaming services in the world as a result of this deal. In an announcement on Aug. 3, Crunchy roll announced that it had surpassed over 5 million paid subscribers and 120 million registered users globally.
